Joseph P. Long is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts (B.A. 1986) and New England School of Law (J.D. 1992). He is admitted to the bar of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. He has been practicing in the Probate and Family Courts, District Courts, and Juvenile Courts of eastern Massachusetts since 1993. He represents clients in the areas of domestic relations, personal injury, criminal and juvenile, probate practice and estate planning law. He has been employed as a Unemployment Hearing Officer, and as Staff in the Massachusetts Legislature. Mr. Long has certifications in Criminal, and Delinquency matters, Divorce and Family Mediation, Adoption Mediation, Child Welfare Law, and Mental Health matters. Attorney Long has taught college paralegal courses in Massachusetts prisons. Attorney Long is a member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Massachusetts, and Boston Bar Associations, and the Bar Associations of Norfolk, and Plymouth County. Mr. Long served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
